Gluten-Free
Gluten is a protein complex found in wheat, kamut, spelt, barley,and rye. A gluten-free diet will have no breads, pastas and many convenience foods. However, there are more gluten-free products that are becoming available such as breads and pasta. Many specialty grocery stores sell gluten-free products. There are many healthy and delicious foods that are naturally gluten-free such as seeds, nuts, flax, fruits and vegetables.
Organic

Non-GMO
A GMO (genetically modified organism) is the result of a laboratory process of taking genes from one species and inserting them into another in an attempt to obtain a desired trait or characteristic, hence they are also known as transgenic organisms. This process may be called either Genetic Engineering (GE) or Genetic Modification (GM); they are one and the same.To avoid GMO foods buy certified organic products which cannot in intentionally include any GMO ingredients. Look for non-GMO project verified seals. Avoid ingredients including soybeans,canola, cotton seeds,corn and sugar from sugar beets.
Vegan
Veganism is a type of vegetarian diet that excludes meat, eggs, dairy products and all other animal-derived ingredients. Many vegans also do not eat foods that are processed using animal products, such as refined white sugar and some wines. Most vegans also avoid the use of all products tested on animals, as well as animal-derived non-food products, such as leather, fur and wool. Vegan refers to either a person who follows this way of eating, or to the diet itself.
